Arthur's letters - undated fragment

Arthur 51

[part letter; 1918?]

… most of his garden now.

I have wrote to Fred. I couldn't write to him before because I hadn't got his address. I hear that there is to publicise. I think they all married now except me. I got a bit more sense than that just now.

How is Dot’s Bob getting on? I just say he would like that piece of soap I had. I had a bath with it yesterday so I have to finish it now. I wouldn't mind another piece. You can tell her I just say she thinks she is helping Bob a lot being in the munitions.

I haven't anymore to say just now. Give my love to anybody I no.

So goodbye.

From your loving son Arthur,

I think you can understand this alright.

I can write nice sometimes.
